Using AIG as their underwriters - bad mistake as their service was appalling
The cost and cover of travel insurance is important but making a claim more so
When holiday had to be cancelled AIG gave dreadful service . NO COMMUNICATION. And huge 7 weeks from passing claim to payout and only because of after many phone calls I went to complaints department. AVOID

Absolutely awful experience! I took out an annual travel insurance policy for myself, husband and three young children, then covid-19 hit. We were given a credit note for less than we had paid, which we accepted due to the circumstances.
It is now Jan 2023 and due to vaccinations and the state of play in most countries, we feel it is now safe to take our family away. So we called just travel cover to be told our credit note had expired (12month limit) and we had been notified... We have not and had we been told of an expiration date, there is no way on earth I would have accepted a credit note when we were at the beginning of a global pandemic with no known end. I expressed this to a manager Clare who said 'well there were safe countries where there were no travel restrictions.' So I can't leave my house BUT I can travel abroad, this company clearly is above Government advice at the time! So, I will now be writing in to complain and advise my travel agents of this disgusting service . I do not recommend and I would advise anyone to consider whether you would actually be covered in the event of any issues as this company is clearly not trustworthy.

Since posting this review and threatening ombudsman action, a lovely manager got in touch and said she had listened to the call conversation and acknowledged that it had been handled poorly and appologised, although I rejected the first offer, I settled on the second for £75 cash back into my bank account.. roughly half of my original spend with them. I am happy with getting something back and that one person I spoke with was lovely but no I still would never take out cover with them again as I would not trust them to pay out.

I have taken out cover through Just Travel before. Selecting travel insurance is rather more difficult in these times, found the website information most helpful in coming to a decision. Inputting health information more straightforward than I recall in the past. Be willing to take time to download and read the information if you proceed, my purchase completed online with prompt email confirmations.

The woman who dealt with my request for a quote was so helpful, explaining all the questions in the health section perfectly, she spoke clearly and was so helpful.

I was looking for a policy that covered what I thought was important and I'm pleased with my level of cover. Quick and easy policy details to read & good price too.

I done an online quote for an annual cover for my wife and l - but l wasnt sure l had included our health details
I called the number and l was guided through my application. I had missed the health section which we quickly added and completed by application and purchased the policy.
As the saying goes better to be safe not sorry.

Don't bother - our claim is being handled by 'CSA Ltd' who are appalling. The claims platform isn't great and doesn't show you a list of documents you've already uploaded. It doesn't even tell you where the claim is up to.

Aside from the initial confirmation I've heard nothing. Tried to ring and couldn't get through. Tried to email and received nothing back.

This will probably end up being escalated to the Ombudsman as judging from the other reviews, 'CSA Ltd' are pretty much incompetent.

I won't be taking out another policy through Just Travel Cover and I plead others reading this look elsewhere.

I have been a repeat customer with this intermediary for 3 years now they are great to deal with and their website prices are the same as their call centre so you know where you stand on both renewals and product changes

Bought a single trip policy using Just Travel Cover for the 2nd time. Very easy site to navigate, medical declarations very straightforward and the prices are the best I can find anywhere. My Travel Cover company of choice by far.

Was so grateful Just Travel would insure me during my trip to Canada. Having an ongoing medical condition I could not find any company who would insure me for 3 weeks. Just Travel gave me an insurance based on my need. Thank you.

Seemed helpful and reasonably priced. Unfortunately had to make a claim when we returned from holiday. Took two calls to be sent the correct forms. Completed and returned within 1 day and received an email confirming receipt and stating it would be processed within 5 working days. Following numerous emails phone calls and errors the claim was finally settled after 2 months. It then took them a further 6 weeks to deal with the resulting complaint. Avoid!
